So, i have been and still am very busy with university, rl-stuff and different projects. Oh, and Guild Wars 2, of course. The dyeworks has been growing constantly but there are still colors and pictures missing. And it definitely needs a better overview. Anyways, I wanted to show this neat GW2 town clothing to you!

Guild Wars 2: Frisuren – Hair styles

Caria’s Dyeworks

Since the first beta weekend I have been collecting data about dyes to compile it into some kind of useful list. Still haven’t seen all colors and many dyes are still missing pictures of all three armor types. However, the blog for dyes and the like only is online now! Check it out at Caria’s Dyeworks! Additional colors and pictures are sure to come when Guild Wars 2 launches! Oh, and there will be lists with the different hues later on.

Ein wichtiger Aspekt in MMORPGs ist das Reisen. Allerdings bekommen es einige einfach nicht richtig hin und das System endet als endlose Zeitschinderei oder Ärgernis. Ports, Portale, Wegpunkte, Ställe, Routen, Reittiere… sie alle dienen nur einem Zweck: den Spieler dahin zu schicken, wo er hin möchte. Seien es Dungeons, die Hauptstädte um dem Handwerk nachzugehen oder irgendeine Stelle zu der euch eure Quests schicken, zunächst muss man dort erst einmal ankommen.

Stadtkleidung

Im letzten Teil zum Farbsystem und Aussehen werfen wir, wie versprochen, einen Blick auf Stadtkleidung und die Möglichkeit sein Outfit zu verändern. Wenn ihr euch euer Heldenmenü anseht, fallen euch zwei Buttons über der Vorschau auf. Diese werden benutzt um zwischen der normalen Rüstung und der Stadtkleidung zu wechseln. Stadtkleidung dient nur dem (guten) Aussehen. Sie hat keine Werte und ihr könnt in ihr nicht kämpfen. Beginnt man einen Kampf oder gehst auf einen Tauchgang während man sie trägst, wird automatisch auf die normale Rüstung umgeschaltet.

Das Farbsystem

Die Farbpalette in GW2 ist breit gefächert. Eines meiner Ziele an den Beta-Wochenenden war es, möglichst viele verschiedene Farben zu sammeln. Laut einer Aussage im Betaforum von ArenaNet-Mitarbeiterin Crystin Cox (sorry, das Betaforum ist wieder geschlossen und darum kein Link verfügbar) soll es 400 Farben geben. Auf stolze 216 habe ich es insgesamt geschafft. Die Auswahl ist also riesig!
